Pantheism

Spirituality

Pantheism is the belief that everything is God. So not that a supreme being created the universe, but that the universe itself, all included, is God. The literal meaning of the word pantheism, which derrives from Ancient Greek, is "All is God". Pantheists do not believe in a supreme being or a creator God.

In the words of Thomas Edison, a US-American inventor and scientist:
"What you call God I call Nature,
the Supreme intelligence that rules matter."

When asked by Larry King if he believes in God, Stephen Hawking replied:
"Yes, I do, if by God you mean the embodiment of the laws that govern the universe."

Albert Einstein (1879-1955) said:
"My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble minds. That deeply emotional conviction of the presence of a superior reasoning power, which is revealed in the incomprehensible universe, forms my idea of God."

Naturalistic Pantheism

Naturalistic Pantheism is based on philosophical naturalism and is the belief that everything is somehow connected. A BBC source additionally states:
"Naturalistic pantheism is the belief that all of existence is somehow connected and is a source of mystical enlightment, but that there is no conscious god present to muck around with things.
The Jedi movement is a good example of this."

Pandeism

Pandeism is a pantheistic form of deism, or a belief which is a mixture of pantheism and deism. Simply put, God as a supreme being created the universe and then became the universe.

Some pandeists additionally have the belief that at some point all of the universe will coalesce back and again become God.

Some pandeists refer to God as the Deus in order to differentiate their ideas from those of theists.
